Okay Charger fans. No more crap about how you haven't got any calls. That 3rd down defensive holding call in overtime was complete garbage. I just finished watching the replay 6 times; no way that call should be made any time...much less in a overtime playoff game. Not saying that the Chargers wouldn't have won - but, Peyton should have gotten the ball back. Let them play Refs.
The Unified Fund Kiss of Death remains in tact - I'll have to go back and get official trend statistics...but it sure seems like the majority of us go big on a popular pick, that team loses. It was the Cowboys last week with over $1,100 bet on them, this week it's the Colts with $1,310 bet on them.
Mills and Hill escape from day 1 with winning totals - $150 and $120 respectively...Mills the only one betting on the Cardinals and Hill the only one to bet on the Chargers.

Really?
ReplyDeleteNumber one, it was clearly holding and he bumped Chambers in the air.
Number two, at the end of the first half, the ball was clearly coming out of the kick returners hands before his knee was down, which was likely 7 points off the board and at least 3 for my beloved Chargers. Aside from a couple of bonehead plays, we completly outplayed the media darling Colts.
Chargers proved to anyone with sense that they are a solid team. Next week should be fun.
Go Bolts!
P.S. Sproles is incredible and so fun to watch.
Take off your Chargers goggles - I'm not saying that the Chargers wouldn't have won anyway (I think they would have) or that they didn't outplay the Colts (I think they did).
ReplyDeleteMy point was it was a garbage way to end a great game. I would have liked to see the players decide it instead of extending a crucial drive on a touch foul.
Imagine the receiver on that play was Reggie Wayne and that call was made on Cromartie - extending a Colts drive late in the game in Chargers territory. No way you would have agreed with that call.
