WEEK 6 PICKS/RESULTS

Alright everyone. It's already week 6, time for a Season Recap, sponsored by Merita Bread. What have we learned?

1. WE AREN'T ANY BETTER.
At this point, everyone has been given a total of $800...only 4 members of the Unified Fund have actually made any fake money. We've only got 1 member whose record over .500 (Mills). Rolling up a stake and heading to Vegas to do this full-time still seems to be a less-than-stellar life decision, which is disappointing.

2. WORST TO FIRST?
Mobley, who finished DEAD LAST in last year's Unified Fund, has a comfortable lead through 5 weeks. He has noticeably deviated away from picking his Cowboys this year, which may be the key to his success. Can he continue to hold off placing bets on the NFC East's last place team? Doesn't look like it, as he's out with a Cowboys bet this week.

3. NEAR MISSES FROM PAST CHAMPIONS
Last year's champion, the self-proclaimed "Real Furnas" missed out on a huge parlay last week when Favre threw a pick-six instead of just a pick, which would have ended the game. $700 he missed out on there. That's a landow roof and power steering. Then, the inaugural champion Mansfield was a Mason Crosby hit upright away from a big payday last week as well.

4. THE FIGHT FOR MOST TERRIBLE
Meanwhile, Eller and Graziano are pitted in an epic struggle for Worst Record in Unified Fund history. Eller has started off a Kobe-esque 3-14, while Graziano is just 2-9. However, I think it needs to be noted that Eller has mounted all 3 of his wins this year AFTER he started having sexual intercourse. Graziano might want to learn from this trend and go get him some strange. Just saying.
